Salary:

$38.33 - $47.77/hr, depending on experience and qualifications as per the BCGEU Faculty Collective Agreement.  Temporary employees receive an additional $0.50/hour in lieu of benefits, 6% vacation pay and 4.2% statutory holiday pay included with each pay.

Description:

Management 453: Project Management Seminar (Information Technology Specialization) will be offered during the Winter 2020 semester, to be delivered face to face on the Fort St. John campus.  This contract consists of 2.0 delivery hours plus 1.5 preparation hours, to be offered every other week, for a total contract of up to 22.5 hours over the semester.

The Business Management programs at Northern Lights College offer a wide variety of courses for students interested in working towards a Business Management Certificate, Business Management Diploma, or Post-Degree Diploma in Business Management with specializations in Information Technology and Health Administration. NLC's Business Management courses are also recognized by professional accounting bodies and receive transfer credit at other post-secondary institutions.

Qualifications: 

Required:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or in Information Technology; 
  • Demonstrated experience with information technology and project management; 
  • Commitment to student motivation and success; and the 
  • Ability to function effectively as a team member through collaborative approaches to course pedagogy.

Preferred:

  • PhD in Business Administration or Information Technology; 
  • The Provincial Instructor Diploma Program or an equivalent credential in adult education; and 
  • Experience instructing a culturally diverse group of students, including Indigenous and international students at the post-secondary level.
