$38.33 - $47.77/hr, depending on experience and qualifications as per the BCGEU Faculty Collective Agreement.  Temporary employees receive an additional $0.50/hour in lieu of benefits, 6% vacation pay and 4.2% statutory holiday pay included with each pay.


NLC requires an instructor to deliver Management 302: Business Sustainability during the Winter 2020 semester.  This course will be delivered face to face, on the Fort St. John campus.  The contract will consist of 3.0 lecture hours and 3.0 preparation hours per instructional week for a total of 90 hours.

The Business Management programs at Northern Lights College offer a wide variety of courses for students interested in working towards a Business Management Certificate, Business Management Diploma, or Post-Degree Diploma in Business Management with specializations in Information Technology and Health Administration. NLC's Business Management courses are also recognized by professional accounting bodies and receive transfer credit at other post-secondary institutions.  MGMT 302 is a required or elective course in the programs listed above.

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or a closely related discipline, such as Leadership; 
  • Demonstrated experience with information technology and project management; 
  • Commitment to student motivation and success; and the 
  • Ability to function effectively as a team member through collaborative approaches to course pedagogy.


  • PhD in Business Administration; 
  • The Provincial Instructor Diploma Program or an equivalent credential in adult education; and 
  • Experience instructing a culturally diverse group of students, including Indigenous and international students at the post-secondary level.
