Classification 16, $50,872.40 - $52,445.77 per annum, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. This position receives an additional annual stipend of $2,500.00, which is in effect until June 30, 2022 with the possibility of an extension. Annual vacation (119 hours) is pro-rated and front loaded. We have competitive extended health and dental benefits package (staff are eligible after the completion of 910 employment hours). Support Collective Agreement includes time off for family illness, personal illness, and other special leaves. Closure during the Christmas Break (Dec 25 - Jan 1st) of each year is paid time off. Enrolment in the Municipal Pension Plan is mandatory for all regular, full time support staff. |

Qualifications: |
The ideal candidate will have strong break/fix skills in systems, software, and networking and enjoys delivering great customer service. They will have experience in Windows 7/10 and Server 2008, 2012 and 2016 with a good understanding of DNS, AD and Group Policies. Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure, VMCloud and AWS would be a bonus! Exchange, Vmware, PaloAlto or Meraki experience would be an asset as well, but not required. Related certifications, such as A+, N+, etc., would be preferred. We are willing to train the ideal applicant! A current Driver's license is required for this position. |
