Salary:

Classification 17, $52,038.78 - $53,648.23 annually, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Our leaves entitlements include vacation, 119 hours annually (pro-rated and front loaded), as well as time off for family and personal illness, and other special leaves. We offer competitive extended health and dental benefits, upon the completion of the probationary period (910 hours). Closure during the Christmas Break (Dec 25 - Jan 1st) of each year is paid time off. Contributions/enrolment for the Municipal Pension Plan is mandatory for all regular, full-time staff, and matched by the employer.

Description:

The Records & Graduation Analyst coordinates and executes the student records and graduation functions of the Office of the Registrar, ensuring the maintenance, integrity and distribution of student records and graduation compliance.

As an integral part of the Office of the Registrar's team, the incumbent will:

  • Ensure that the maintenance and integrity of student records by monitoring business practices, analyzing records and diagnosing issues.
  • Coordinates and completes end of term processing.
  • Ensures final grades are accurately recorded on student records
  • Coordinates production and delivery of official transcripts, enrolment verification and other record requests.
  • Maintains transfer credit records; and
  • Coordinates and executes all graduation processing functions

Qualifications:

As the successful candidate, you will hold a bachelor's degree and have two years of relevant experience (preferably in a Registrar's Office), or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Ideally, you will possess excellent knowledge of college policies and regulations related to student services, such as registration, admissions, records, and grades. There is a requirement to have strong analytical skills, excellent organizational, communication (oral, written, presentation), interpersonal and customer service skills. This role will ensure compliance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act with regard to student records and their integrity.

This position processes criminal record check data. Therefore, you will need to be able to pass a Schedule B Criminal Records check upon hiring.
