Salary:

 

 

$38.33 - $47.77, depending on experience and qualifications as per the BCGEU Faculty Collective Agreement.  Temporary employees receive an additional $0.50/hour in lieu of benefits, 6% vacation pay and 4.2% statutory holiday pay included with each pay.

This contract consists of 3.0 delivery hours per week with the equivalent in preparation hours, for a total contract of 90 hours.

Description:

The Business Management programs at Northern Lights College offer a wide variety of courses for students interested in working towards a Business Management Certificate, Business Management Diploma, or Post-Degree Diploma in Business Management with specializations in Information Technology and Health Administration. NLC's Business Management courses are also recognized by professional accounting bodies and receive transfer credit at other post-secondary institutions.  Management 217: Business Systems Analysis and Design is a required or elective course in the programs listed above.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master's Degree in Business Management, or a closely related discipline; 
  • Proven ability to effectively function as a team member through collaboration with peers across the University Arts and Sciences curriculum.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Preferred:

  • Ph.D in Business Management with a focus on systems analysis and design. 
  • The Provincial Instructor Diploma Program or an equivalent credential in adult education, or a readiness to pursue such a credential.
  • Experience instructing a culturally diverse group of students, including Indigenous and international students
