Excluded position: Grid 12, $80,246.00 - $106,995.00 annually, depending on experience and qualifications as per NLC's Excluded Salary Scale.  An excellent benefit package is offered, including extended health and dental benefits.   Vacation entitlement will be pro-rated based on full time equivalency (210 hrs. /year).

Description:

 

 

The Campus Administrator is an individual who is a motivated and organized leader with strong customer service, problem solving, interpersonal and quantitative skills.  This role is responsible for the day to day management and operation of both the Chetwynd and Tumbler Ridge campuses, ensuring that the campuses are meeting budget expectations.  Through the building of the teams on both campuses, will strive to nurture, support and inspire an enthusiastic and capable team of employees to serve our communities.  In addition, this position will take on a liaison role and be the face of Northern Lights College in the both the Tumbler Ridge and Chetwynd communities.

Qualifications:

The technical requirements for this job would typically be acquired through a Graduate degree in Business Administration or related area of study, plus five years supervisory experience in a union environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  The ideal candidate will have a record of being highly involved in their community and will be known as a community leader. They will have a genuine interest in Northern Lights College and its high potential for continued growth.

A proven track record of fostering cooperation with other agencies/businesses will be important.  The incumbent will be a community-focused, committed individual who enjoys challenge and approaches opportunities with creativity through inclusion of the staff, students and the community. Travel to other communities within the College region maybe required on an ongoing basis, therefore a current driver's license is required.
